ResourceID
spase://SMWG/Instrument/Magion-4/VDPS

Description

This instrument consists of four Faraday cup detectors, registering ions and electrons with energies above 170 eV. The detectors are oriented at +/- 45 degrees from the main axis of the spacecraft, and have an angular aperture of 100 degrees. The maximum frequencies used are 1, 2, 4, and 8 Hz (depending on the telemetry mode).
